St Swithun’s prides itself on being a community where we celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. We strive to develop each child’s full potential in all areas encompassing academic, cultural, moral and social aspects of the curriculum.

Friends of St Swithun’s School

The Friends of St Swithun’s School (FOSSS) exists to promote and support the challenge, learning and growth of everyone at the school – our students, our teachers, our support staff, and our friends & families of the school. This dynamic website has been designed for you to keep you up to date and share your experiences and ideas.

FOSSS Membership

All staff, parents, guardians and carers are automatically members of FOSSS when they or/and their children join our school. Many people remain friends of the school (and members of FOSSS) when their children have left.

FOSSS Involvement

All parents, guardians, carers and members of the school community can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available. You do not have to become a committee member to get involved. Any help is accepted and warmly welcomed however small.

FOSSS exists to provide closer links between home and school, and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents, guardians, carers and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal
